What is the best type of exercise to lose weight/tone muscle?

I had a baby about 3 months ago via c-section and am having a hard time losing my "pooch" any advice would be helpful.

Cardio. Cardio and more cardio. Try a jogging stroller or a bicycle with baby trailer attachment. You can use roller blades too with a stroller. It’s fun and you never need a sitter!

Do your cardio for at least 30 mins per day 4-5 days per week (or more if you can) Your so called pouch will disappear before you know it!

And congratulations on your new baby.

What is the best form of exercise to lose weight and tone up?

I am considering:

1. Swimming laps
2. Jogging
3. Weight lifting

Swimming requires the use of alot of muscles.. Its more of a full body workout then running is (which is mostly legs, breathing, and endurance)

My girlfriend has done both and noticed the most weight loss from Swimming

Please remember, Diet is also a huge factor….
Swimming will help you loose weight, but you will not create muscle like you would if you lifted Weights.
